Sarah Chatel

You will find Sarah Chatel to be a true "people person." She provides her clients with both professional and personal attention as she develops relationships built on trust.  Her unstoppable energy, infectious personality, and commitment to acting in her clients' best interests are among the reasons she enjoys long-lasting, professional relationships and enthusiastic referrals.

A resident of Atlanta for over 35 years, Sarah “knows" Atlanta; a true neighborhood expert. Prior to her career in real estate, Sarah had a corporate technology sales background -- selling to C-Level executives. As a result of her active philanthropic engagement in Atlanta, Sarah is well-connected and frequently uses those connections to the benefit of her clients.

Sarah guides buyers and sellers to succeed in their transactions, and frequently exceeds their expectations by always creating win-win situations.  Sarah’s passion for her work is evidenced by the testimonials of her clients, who consistently praise her attentiveness and ability to go the extra mile in finding a home that suits their desires. 

Sarah is a Keller Williams Global Property Specialist, a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors; Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club 2012, 2013, 2014; certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist; Million Dollar Guild recognition; Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate; and member of Georgia Production Partnership (GPP). She attends numerous training programs each year to deepen and expand her knowledge in order to provide her clients with the most current perspectives. 

Sarah lives in Virginia Highlands with her husband and two dogs.  Above all, her priority has been family and raising a blended family of five.  She and her husband, Peter, are active in the non-for-profit community, their church; and, Sarah serves on the Board of Visitors for Converse College, her alma mater; and Six Star Refugee, a refugee resettlement group.  Her love of travel has taken their family to, among other places, ride camels and sleep under the stars in the Sahara Desert and enjoy the slopes of Heavenly in Lake Tahoe. Sarah and Peter are planning a trip to Vietnam in 2016 to visit their daughter.

Lisa Black

Lisa Black is the Lead Buyer’s Specialist for Distinctive Atlanta Homes and a Certified Luxury Agent. Client satisfaction has always been Lisa’s common thread and main priority throughout her career. She will take the time to listen and really understand what people want, and takes great pride in being able to help.

Lisa makes it a point to help her clients navigate the market in order to make the most informed decisions. Her goal is to be one-step ahead of the game to prevent problems before they have a chance to occur and get the work done before they even know it has to happen. 

Having been relocated both domestically and internationally, Lisa understands the unique challenges and needs of international and local clients. She was able to indulge in her love of travel from 2004 - 2009 when her family split their time between Atlanta and Beijing, China. Living among an international community of not only Chinese, but also, people from around the world. Lisa loved learning new languages and new customs, celebrating new holidays and experiencing new foods.

Lisa and her family have maintained a home in the heart of Sandy Springs since January 2000. Since then she has been active in the community through the HOA, worked with the Junior League of Atlanta, volunteered at her daughter’s school and is a board member of Art Sandy Springs. She is a food lover, a “wanna-be wine aficionado” and travel enthusiast. With experience in architecture and interior design she’s helped her clients, friends & family with their design challenges.

Lauren Ruehl

Lauren Ruehl is the Operations Manager for the Distinctive Atlanta Homes Team and is the glue that holds our team together. Prior to joining the team, Lauren served as the COO for the Keller Williams office in NY. Lauren has eight years of experience building a luxury lifestyle management business in NYC.  Her focus has been to build financial and operational infrastructures, and developing strategic partnerships.  Lauren has managed a team who provided hospitality services to real estate agents and their clients in a luxury real estate practice. Working with some of Manhattans most iconic properties were some of the highlights of Lauren’s Real Estate career. 

Known for her honest and straightforward style, Lauren sets a high standard for integrity and customer service and is recognized for her positive attitude, sound judgment and follow-through. She enjoys guiding clients through every detail of the real estate process and her mission is to add value to the lives of everyone she meets.

Born and raised in NYC, Lauren relocated to Atlanta with her husband and two Chihuahuas.  Being a lover of the outdoors, travel and crafting, Lauren is embracing the various climates and terrains found in Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places and restaurants, internationally and locally. She will almost always be able to tell you what local event is going on in the area.
